| BC Sprint: Small field loaded with talent |
|
Santa Anita 25 Oct: The Breeders' Cup Sprint (G1) has a small filed of just nine but there is a lot of class in this race, and also plenty of speed. Perhaps this will set it up for the local hero Street Boss, and for last year's winner Midnight Lute, who comes here with just one run under his belt in 2008.
Globeform ratings and formlines now posted.

| BC Juvenile: An unusually tricky event |
|
Santa Anita Oct 25: Over the years, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) has been a race with a clear favorite. And over the years many of these favorites have obliged. This year? Well, this is possibly not so straightforward a task for the handicappers.
The dual Group One winner from Europe, David Wachman’s experienced and talented colt Bushranger, and the imposing Todd Pletcher trainee Munnings will both be sporting the well known silks of John Magnier, Derrick Smith and Michael Tabor. These bigtime thoroughbred investors have decided to go in with two players here, and it’s understandable – for there are dangers aplenty, as our figures clearly show.
Globeform ratings and notes now posted.

| BC Ladies Classic: Zenyatta first, then what? |
|
Santa Anita Oct 24: She may be the biggest favorite on Breeders’ Cup weekend, but when it’s all over Zenyatta could well look like the best value bet too. Of course, even money is seldom what we call value, but in this case that’s the way it looks.
She has so much in her favor and the imposing daughter of Street Cry is impossible to oppose in the Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic (G1).
This is still an intesting betting heat, however, as you can make a case for all but two of the other seven to fill second spot, and perhaps a bit on intelligent handicapping can pay off in the trifecta betting. The ‘exotics’ always pay over the odds on B Cup day and all you need to focus on in the Ladies Classic is identifying the runner-up, and a nice profit will be coming your way.
