Geir Stabell has written and published 15 books on horseracing. Recently invited as a speaker at the Asian International Racing Conference in Istanbul, and at various racing seminars in the USA, Stabell is an independent thinker, writer and speaker well known for his analytical approach.

Stabell is also known as a leading international form expert, having been the first handicapper to present a transatlantic thoroughbred ranking back in 1991, when Globeform was first launched as annuals on European and North American Group One & Grade One winners.

This project coincided with a seven-year spell with the Racing Post in London, where Stabell held the position as international handicapper.

Stabell's in-depth analytical articles on racing, betting and breeding are regularly published in Trainer Magazine, Europe, Trainer Magazine, North America, Gulf News in Dubai,Galopp Magasinet in Scandinavia, Galopp Magazine International and the International Racehorse published out of South Africa.
